Ron (also known as RTR & Ronald T.)  has spent over 40 years as a highly skilled professional broadcaster & voice over talent and artist in the broadcast industry as well as in the music industry. His vocal and sound abilities can best be described as superb, smooth, resonant and pleasing baritone voice-over talent.

Ron has been a multiple, major- market radio performer, voice over talent and voiced tens of thousands of broadcast (radio/TV, documentaries, industrial audio/visual), corporate and educational projects across North America as well as internationally.

Ronald’s unique and standout experience in Radio has been in his domination of the Calgary market from 1980-1993 – gaining shares of over 18% where a share of 9% or better is usually enough to generate a #1 position.

From 1977-2005, Ronald was the “Voice of Sportchek”, a national sporting goods retailer and from 1980-1990 was also the on-camera presenter for the company’s Television commercial marketing.

Ron has been a trained musician since the age of 5 (coming from the Robinson clan, all of whom were trained musicians) with retained skills as a drummer - learned in the world of Drum Corps. This culminated with a two-year stint in the Preston Scout House Drum Corps in the early 1960's. He is also an occasional and accomplished guitarist and songwriter/lyricist. He's also never been known to threaten anyone with an accordion!

During his career, he has also owned recording studios and ad agencies. He is also expert in the linguistics of broadcast communications.
